Today we learned about Potential energy (sometimes called Gravitational Potential Energy). It equals mgh, or PE = m * g * h.
When you consider KE and PE, we can call the sum of the two total Mechanical Energy. Since energy is conserved, we can write the formula as E total = PE + KE.
For HW, you are going to see more about this in the book. Please do the following for tomorrow.
